This page explains what happens to the details you give us through this website. In short: we use them to reply to you, and nothing else.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your name, email, phone number and your answers about your project or about yourself.
- Any files you send with a form, such as drawings, a CV or photos of your work.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry or expression of interest, and to talk with you about your project or a role. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or share your details with anyone else.
Where it goes
Your form is emailed to Charley at Plot Joinery, with any files attached. We also keep a record of your answers (not your files) in our private business systems, so no enquiry gets lost, for as long as we need it for our work with you. The website's own backup copy is deleted automatically after 12 months.
We use trusted services to run the website and send these emails: Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection), Resend (sending form emails) and Google Workspace (our email). They handle your details only to provide those services to us.
Spam protection and website statistics
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending them. We may count visits to the website to see which pages are useful; this doesn't use cookies or identify you.
Seeing, changing or deleting your details
Email [email protected] and we'll tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, let us know and we'll make it right; you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
